Through my time working on Häagen-Dazs, I helped establish and develop a relationship with Zendaya where she organically promoted our new products and helped spread her natural brand enthusiasm to her fans.
Zendaya is a long time Häagen-Dazs fan that the brand had no direct relationship with before I started. For years, Zendaya had been telling interviewers and her fans that Häagen-Dazs Coffee ice cream was her favorite food. Through social listening, I found an opportunity to jump into conversation and help develop a direct relationship with her. She expressed brand love, and we followed up by sending her Häagen-Dazs along with a personalized card. When we launched new products that spring, I reached back out to Zendaya’s team to send her our new flavors.
We have sent her new products for several years now, and she has posted about them to her ever growing social audience every time. The work to establish a relationship with her has helped us as she continues to grow in popularity.
